We don't generally include links to internal Wikipedia pages in article space. :I don't think the link should be removed or changed to [[Authority control]]. It's outside the article body, and the link provides relevant information to readers. This is similar to how the list of categories at the bottom of every page links to [[Help:Category]]. [[Help:Authority control]] is a "reader-focused" help page, but the information that would be useful for readers can easily be explained in the lead of [[Wikipedia:Authority control]]. They should be merged to reduce redundancy and keep the information in one place.
