Usage

• Use this redirect category template (RCAT) to categorize protected redirects. Place this Rcat on a redirect like this:

#REDIRECT [[(target article)]] {{R protected}}

This is in accordance with the instructions given at Wikipedia:REDCAT.

• Template {{This is a redirect}} can also be used to add this Rcat and any others that may be applied to the redirect.
• This Rcat automatically populates Category:Protected redirects.
